National Futsal action will make Canberra it’s home again next year as Capital Football prepares to host the 2020 FFA National Futsal Championships from the 13th to 17th January.
Held at various venues across the Territory, the 2020 FFA National Futsal Championships will see more than 60 teams descend on Canberra for a week-long festival of elite Futsal action.
The event returns after a year break as Football NSW hosted the 2019 tournament and will showcase some of the best Futsal talent in the country, as well as international teams in one of the fastest growing sports in Australia.
Grand Finals will be held at the nationally recognised AIS Arena, and Capital Football CEO Phil Brown said it is an excellent chance for some of the country’s brightest talents to showcase their skills on a grand stage.
“We are delighted to be hosting the Championships once again, following a stellar tournament held by Football NSW this year,” Brown said.
“The FFA National Futsal Championships is always a great show, and as Futsal itself continues to grow it demonstrates a pathway for our best young players to follow.”
Capital Football will confirm venues and where age groups will be based during the tournament at a later date.
