U12 Boys – FNSW Thunder v Victoria Magic

It was the Lucas Green show in the under 12’s grand final, scoring all four of his team’s goals for a 4-1 victory.

Thunder opened the match better with chances through Sebastian Hayward and Stefan Simonoski, unable to beat Victoria keeper.

Oliver Randazzo picked up the ball in midfield and fired a left foot effort into the back with less than three minutes on the board.

Lucas Green had the teams level only two minutes later with a fine finish.

Green was causing the Thunder all sorts of problems and he had his second three minutes from the break with a tidy finish.

Randazzo thought he had the sides level with seconds remaining but somehow the Magic were able to clear the ball off the line.

Green rounded off his hat-trick and fine performance with another excellent finish, putting the Magic two goals clear with just over 10 minutes remaining.

The Thunder pushed hard to get back into the game but Michael Vonja had other ideas, making some fantastic saves.

It was Green’s day, making it 4-1 with a thunderous effort from near half way, finding the top corner.
