U14 Boys – FNSW Thunder v Queensland Metro

It was one way traffic from start to finish in this one as the FNSW Thunder controlled the game, running out 6-1 winners.

The Thunder hit the front after some fine build up play between Dylan Gil and Clayton Taylor with the latter tapping the ball into the back of the net.

Taylor soon had his and the Thunder’s second, back heeling the ball into the goal.

The hat-trick was completed only a minute later, as Taylor swept his shot into the top corner.

Taylor continued his assault and seconds before half time made it 4-0 with another goal to his tally.

Jett Mccue-Shore then made it 5-0 with a neat side footed shot, giving the Queensland keeper no chance.

Almost straight from the kick off, Queensland cut the deficit as Caden Penniket blasted the ball into the back of the net.

Taylor had his fifth as the game came to a close, flicking his effort beyond the keeper to make the score 6-1.
