Football Queensland and Mitre announce naming rights partnership

Football Queensland is proud to announce Mitre as the naming rights partner of the Mitre National Futsal Championships in a new three-year agreement, aligning with the Gold Coast securing hosting rights for the tournament through to 2028.

The partnership highlights Mitre’s commitment to supporting Australia’s premier futsal tournament and ensuring players, clubs, and fans experience the game at the highest standard. Over the next three years, Mitre will help showcase elite futsal talent, reinforce best-practice standards, and contribute to the continued growth and development of the sport in Queensland.

Football Queensland CEO Robert Cavallucci said the partnership represented the next step in a strong and trusted relationship between FQ and Mitre.

“The Mitre name is synonymous with quality, and it’s fitting to see it aligned with an event that continues to set the benchmark for futsal in Australia. Together, we’re committed to building on the success of recent years and delivering a world-class tournament that showcases the best emerging talent from across the country,” Cavallucci said.
